JJ in Puerto Rico

I'm at the El Conquistador Resort in Fajardo, Puerto Rico for the CAS Spring Meeting. It's a pretty packed schedule with all the seminars and stuff, but I did manage to get out and look around a bit.

It's the tropics so there's the obligatory palm trees, ocean...

...and coconuts.


It's a resort so there's also a golf course...

...a chair...

...and one really angry bird.


Sunday morning, I took a tour of the El Yunque rain forest where you find lots of rain foresty stuff.







On Tuesday, we had a free afternoon so I took the ferry to Palomino Island, the resort's private island and beach, where I met Jub Jub.




Then back to the resort and a walk through the golf course.
